Graduating from Western Sydney University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (major in Marketing), Cristian was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in May 2014. Before being admitted as a Solicitor in NSW, Cristian worked as a paralegal at a boutique firm practising in criminal law, family law, debt recovery and various property transactions.

Cristian values his clients’ satisfaction and goes the extra mile to exceeds his clients’ expectations. Over the years Cristian has built a solid reputation with his clients who appreciate his attention to detail, personable nature and client-focused approach to his legal services. He now focuses on helping start-ups and businesses with their legal issues, from small debt recovery to large commercial litigation matters.

Cristian is also fluent in Spanish.

Over the years, Cristian has gained experience and expertise in a broad range of litigious and non-litigious areas of law.

Property, Leasing & Conveyancing– acting for both buyers and sellers of residential, industrial, and commercial property transactions, as well as lessors and lessees. Cristian has built a solid reputation in property law and conveyancing by going the extra mile for clients ranging from first home buyers to property developers that value Cristian’s hard work, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.

Civil and Commercial litigation – representing clients in contested hearings in the Local, District and Supreme Court in a wide range of commercial disputes and litigation.

Cristian has also appeared in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) for various matters including the termination of tenancy agreements, the revocation of financial management orders, and building and construction disputes.

Family law – advising and representing married or de facto spouses in relation to divorce and separation, binding financial agreements, with focus on property and financial settlements and the division of property and assets in the Family Courts.

Criminal law – advising and representing individuals in Court for a range of charges such as assaults to drink driving, and has achieved outstanding results for his clients due to his preparation and hard work.

Debt recovery – advising and representing individuals and corporations in various Courts to facilitate the recovery of small and large debts on commercial terms for his clients.

Insolvency and Bankruptcy – advising and representing individuals and companies on personal bankruptcy and corporate insolvency, from issuing statutory demands or setting them aside in the Supreme Court, to obtaining sequestration orders in the Federal Circuit Court.

Wills and Estates – drafting wills, powers of attorney and enduring guardianship documents for individuals and couples and assisting in their estate planning requirements.

Commercial Law – acting for sales and purchases of businesses, drafting and reviewing various types of commercial agreements.

Employment Law – drafting employment agreements and advising clients on employment-related disputes, including appearances in the Chief Industrial Magistrates Court, and advising on the Fair Work Act and Award entitlements.

Intellectual Property – Cristian has advised clients on trademark applications and successfully appealed to IP Australia to register trademarks that have had adverse findings.

Outside of work Cristian enjoys being keeping fit and being outdoors. He enjoys travelling, fishing, snowboarding, and spending his time with family and friends.
